You Make a Difference

The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. – Psalms 92:12

God’s word promises a triumphant outcome when we live in obedience to Him. After all we face in life, our righteousness guarantees overcoming growth. We remain stable through storms. Palm trees are a symbol of this victory.

Cedars of Lebanon are immune to insect ravaging. Their presence prevents infestation in forests. Providing fragrant, high quality wood, King Solomon used cedars to build the temple. Being constructed with wood free from pests, the temple provided a place of freedom.

As the people of God, not only do we live in victory, but we help secure it for those around us. As we flourish and grow, we help others do the same. Our presence, testimony, and witness inspire change that leads to freedom from worldly bondage. As a believer, know that you are God’s tree of righteousness. You make a positive difference. Your presence is a present.
