Fruitful Evidence
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. – John 15:8
A final step in a tree’s growth cycle is to bear fruit. In order to do so, a tree must endure all seasons. When cold weather comes and the branches are bear, when strong stormy winds blow, never do you see a tree uproot itself and attempt to escape the elements. Then, in due time the fruit appears. It serves as evidence of the tree’s fortitude and identity.
As believers, we must endure the seasons of life. If we remain where God has planted us, He stands with us. As we grow, we are molded and shaped by Him. Then, in His time, we bear fruit. (Galatians 5:22-23) Thereby, we show His power working through us and exhibit evidence that we belong to Him.
