Glorify God

Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake. – Psalms 115:1

Many times, in different ways, we do well in life. These are moments worth celebrating. While we deserve some credit for our efforts, we can not forget the source. It is God who gives us the wisdom, intelligence, strength, and provision to do what we do. He directs us to and connects us with the support team through whom we are made better. Let the world know He is a God of truth, proven by our accomplishments which He previously promised. His mercy is proven by allowing us to serve and contribute despite our shortcomings. Ultimately, He gets the glory. So, as you take your bow, do not forget to acknowledge Him when you are asked, “How?”.
