Silent Yet Faithful

Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before Him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about Him. - Psalms 50:3

There are times when God goes silent. The ungodly may be misled into thinking He is also unobserving, and they are getting away with their evildoing. However, even in silence, God is all-knowing. (Proverbs 15:3) He is always alert. (Psalms 121:4) This is one reason Christians must remain in the way that is right. Even when our heavenly father seems distant, we must stay close to Him. When unsure of what He is saying today refer to what you last heard. He is faithful and not prone to changing His mind. Do not let the silence deceive you. Maintain your sonship through Jesus. He will speak again. He will come again. Those in defiance will face the fire of His judgment. Those who remain faithful in His temple will rejoice in victory.
