Do Good, Fulfill Your Purpose

Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. – Psalms 34:14

Once you commit your life to Jesus you commit to all that is good and only what is good. You are commanded by God to take a clear, bold stance against any and every thing that is not like Him. (Romans 12:9) Basically, there are only two categories; good and evil. (Deuteronomy 30:15) Anything that is not good, or not like God, is evil. Unfortunately, we underestimate or do not always recognize it. It is not a red being with pointed ears, a tail with an arrow on the end, who carries a pitchfork. Nor is it a green woman wearing a black dress, a tall pointed black hat flying around on a broom. Evil can look like an average person. With the help of the holy spirit we must discern and stay free from it. Then, we can maintain peace with God, others, and within ourselves. With determination, take a stand for God and all that is good. Do not allow anyone or anything to pervert your purpose.
