One Way or Another

But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord. - Numbers 14:21

On the way to Canaan, there were many times when the Israelites rebelled, God wanted to consume them, but Moses talked Him out of it. Moses' concern was how it would look to the Egyptians and all their enemies. It would look as if God could not do what He said He would do and get them into the Promised Land. Eventually, in Numbers 14:21, God let Moses know that whatever happened, the earth would be filled with His glory. His reputation was not at stake. Although His original plan was not working out due to the Israelites disobedience, He could still get His glory another way.

Even as people of faith, things don't always work according to Plan A. If it happened to God, it will surely happen to us. However, we have to take His attitude and know there is another way. Remain faithful and obedient. Stay true to who you are. Follow God's direction, and sooner or later, one way or another, His glory will shine through you.
