You can do it!
In Exodus 4:1-4 and 10, God has told Moses what He wants him to do. However, Moses was concerned about how the people would receive him. Then, God draws Moses’ attention to the rod in his hand. When he threw it to the ground at God’s command, and it became a snake, Moses’ initial reaction was to run from it. Again, at God’s command, he picked it up by the tail, and it returned to a rod. Later in their conversation, Moses’ was concerned about a communication barrier between the people he would address and himself. Needless to say, God had a remedy for that, too. Finally, Moses agreed to do what he’d been called to do.
Sometimes, when made aware of your purpose in life, it can seem overwhelming. Even when God shows you the gift you have and how powerful it is, you may feel fearful. But, you must know that your gift is at your mercy and does not control you. Rather, you control it. You are expected to share it with others and bring positive change. You’re going into unfamiliar territory, but rest assured that you will overcome any language barriers. So, after you’ve asked your questions and made your excuses, just yield to the will of God. He’s not going to change His mind. He won’t leave you alone, either. Be assured, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
