Obey!

In Ezekiel 3:11, God says, "And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord God; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear." He's telling Ezekiel to go where He sends him and say what He tells him to say no matter how the people respond. Unfortunately, sometimes, we fail to take this attitude. We're living in a self-centered society. So, we think we have to be accommodating and make people feel good in order to succeed. We're people-pleasers. However, those of us who want to please God must know that, in many situations, pleasing people and pleasing Him is impossible. Yet, we must do and say whatever He tells us and understand that people's response is really none of our business. It's not about being popular. It's not about being approved and accepted by people. It's not about accumulating followers, likes, and positive comments on social media. It's about obedience!
