Mary and Elizabeth

Luke 1:26-45 is where Mary is informed that she would become pregnant and give birth to the savior of the world. But, the angel who spoke with her did not stop there. He also told her that Elizabeth had experienced a miracle by getting pregnant in her old age after being barren. The angel recognized that Mary had been told that something awesome was about to happen in her life. Who would believe that? Elizabeth would, because she experienced something awesome herself. Mary went to Elizabeth and stayed with her for three months before returning home.

Sometimes, we may keep some things to ourselves. It's not because we don't want to share it, but who can you share it with? Who will believe you, who can you trust, and who can provide the support you need? God knew that Mary would need Elizabeth and vice versa. He loves us enough to give us earthly connections to help along the way. He does all things well. Whether your situation is wonderfully awesome or depressing, if/when necessary, He will help you identify your "Elizabeth".
