Sometimes, we become complacent with the mundane. We settle in our daily routines. However, we serve a God who encourages newness. In several places in the bible the righteous are encouraged to praise Him with a new song. No doubt, He knows there is danger in getting stuck in the humdrum. So much so that He will even renew. For example, some of us are well connected in relationships that were preordained. God will make the old new again and give us a greater appreciation for those around us.

While He expects a new song from us, He is not to be outdone. This is what He offers.

A new life - Jesus came and died so we could be saved from a sinful life and brought into holiness. We do not have to live in bondage. We can be upgraded and free to fulfill our God-given purpose.
A new attitude - Through the presence of His spirit, God will give us a new way of thinking. Our character is changed, and we develop a new outlook on life.
A new destiny - As sinners our destiny was death. Through repentance and accepting Jesus we make a complete turnaround. We can look forward to life everlasting.
