It Was a Woman
When the king of Egypt ordered all newborn Hebrew males be murdered, it was women, the midwives, who refused for fear of God and saved the babies’ lives. (Exodus 1:7-20)
When the Israelites were taken into captivity by the Canaanites, it was Deborah, a woman, who prophesied their deliverance and helped lead the battle to defeat their enemies. (Judges 4)
When Haman conspired to have all Jews killed, it was a woman, Esther, who went before the king although she had not been called, pleaded for her people, and saved their lives. (Esther 3-8)
After having an encounter with Jesus, it was a woman who went back into her city and shared her testimony with the men. Then, she led them to where Jesus was, and they believed on Him. (John 4:5-42)
Never underestimate yourself, woman.
