Ahead of Adversity
But after I am risen again, I will go before you into Galilee. - Matthew 26:32
Jesus told His apostles what to expect after His resurrection from the crucifixion and death. Please give this some consideration. He would be abandoned by all of them, beaten, tortured, crucified, and in the grave for three days, literally. Yet, once He arose He would be in Galilee ahead of them.
There is some adversity and opposition that you are destined to face. It is preordained by God and you can not avoid it. It has a purpose. Like Jesus, you are to humbly endure it. Learn the lessons and grow stronger and better as He did. (Hebrews 5:8) Face it with faith and the power of His spirit. Once you do you will rise from it in a position that is ahead of those who came against you. What they intended to hold you back will propel you. Those who meant to lose you will have to find you.
