Peace

As Christians, we know one reason Jesus came to earth was to be an example and demonstrate the right way to live.  During our present-day experience, it would be fitting to refer to a familiar scripture.  There is nothing deep about it, however it is applicable.  In Mark 4:35-39, Jesus continued to sleep during a great storm when He was on a ship with His disciples.  Eventually, they woke Him, He spoke a word, and there was calm. 

Like Jesus, in spite of everything that is happening, we can have peace. The Lord is all-knowing. When He told the disciples, “Let us pass over unto the other side” in verse 35, He knew a storm would come. Yet, He knew they would make it to the other side. What we are dealing with today is no surprise to Him. The promises He has spoken into our lives will come to pass. He remains true to His covenant. He never has and never will forsake His people. It is easier said than done, but it can be done. Trust in Him and rest.
