In Genesis 18:17-19, God says that He should not hide from Abraham what He was doing. He knew who Abraham was going to be. He knew He could trust Abraham to teach his family to be faithful to the Lord.

Once you have determined the role you want a person to play in your life and they have shown themselves to be in agreement, faithful, and trustworthy, then the next step is to share your heart and mind accordingly. This is the point where you provide more details of your plans. It’s necessary in order to be with one accord and avoid any misunderstandings or conflicts. If all goes well, you will solidify a long lasting bond.
