Heavenly Help

My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. - Psalm 121:2

As of today, July 30, 2020, the Coronavirus continues to spread throughout the world in addition to social unrest in various places. Most people have not experienced anything like this within their lifetime. Many have determined it to be a season of darkness and uncertainty. Yet, we must be mindful of 1 Thessalonians 5:18 which says, “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you”. What should you be thankful for? Thank God for His help. He is the God who made everything that exists. This is evidence of His power and control. If He made it, He’s well able to keep it; and He will. He’s a God of covenant who won’t go back on His word. He will not forget about His people. (Isaiah 49:15-16) He can and will supply every need. Keep the faith, rest in Him, and give Him praise always.
