No Condemnation

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. - Romans 8:1

Sometimes, people try to hold your past sins or mistakes over your head. We even do it to ourselves. In either case, we allow it to hold us back and fail to say or do what's required of us. When you function in your calling, others may say, "I know what you did. Who are you to talk?" As parents, we'll observe our rebellious children and say, "Well, I did the same thing at that age. So, I can't say anything." The truth is this attitude is an insult to God and all that Jesus did for us. Repentance sets us free from our past. We don't have to live with guilt or condemnation. If it's really in your past, then let it go. Don't hesitate to step up and speak up.
