Justice for George Floyd

He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity. - Psalm 10:6

This verse articulates the attitude of some evildoers. They become comfortable in their wrongdoing and believe they'll never be challenged. We've been told that Derek Chauvin already had about twenty complaints against him. Yet, he still had his job. No doubt, this fact partly led to his haughty attitude as he took George Floyd's life. However, I believe this is the end of the road for him.. The whole world is protesting him and his actions. The charges against him have been changed from third to second-degree murder.

The other three officers have been arrested, also. They failed to intervene as they should have. This is a good example of the importance of having a good accountability partner. You need a partner who encourages you to do right and will tell you when you're wrong. Partners don't have to always understand or agree with each other. However, even when separated, you make every effort to remain true to the covenant. You do not want partners like these three officers who agreed with wrongdoing.

May George Floyd be a sacrificial lamb who saves many.
